Kate Jergensen is an actor and dialect coach based in Chicago, IL.

​

        Born and raised on Long Island, Kate has been immersed in the arts from a very young age.             "My earliest memories of performing are the talent shows I put on for my parents in the living room.         I would get all dressed up and sing my little heart out into my toy echo microphone - and I made up all the songs on the spot!"  Kate's passion for singing led her to discover a career in acting. To her core,   Kate is a storyteller and loves collaborating with artists to create meaningful work.

Kate graduated from Ball State University in May 2023 with a B.F.A. in Acting. She was then invited to study at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.  In December 2023, Kate made her Off-Off-Broadway debut playing Lucetta in the American Theatre of Actors' production of Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona.  She's performed in productions at iconic New York theaters, including the       Chain Theater and The Producers Club.

 

  Kate is currently dialect coaching at Ball State, and she served as the Assistant Dialect Coach to      Kathy Logelin at Mercury Theater Chicago.
